Prof. Sarah Newton, Deputy Dean, External Relations, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University, Australia visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 4 March 2016. It was one of the visiting points scheduled in the itinerary of the delegation visit to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), which was coordinated by the Office of Academic Links and the Faculty of Medicine, CUHK.
Prof. Newton was warmly welcomed by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of SBS, and was arranged to meet members of the Stem Cell and Regeneration Thematic Research Progamme including Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee (Chief), Prof. Feng Bo, Prof. Kingston K.L. Mak and Prof. Wan Chao. After the meeting, the guest was guided to tour our Core Laboratory facilities located in the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building.
The visit offered both parties a good opportunity for exchanging recent research developments and exploring possible collaboration by forming a strategic alliance in Regenerative Medicine and Biomedical Engineering.
