With the abstract entitled “Eradication of hepatocellular carcinoma by augmenting PD-L1 blockade efficacy with suppression of cell-cycle related kinase (CCRK)-induced myeloid-derived suppressor cells”, Dr. Zhou Jingying, a postdoctoral fellow of the School of Biomedical Sciences, was awarded the “2017 AAI Trainee Abstract Award” by The American Association of Immunologists (AAI). The AAI Trainee Abstract Award is presented to the AAI Trainee members (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) whose first-author abstract were selected by the AAI Members who are experts in the related field.  Dr. Zhou presented her abstract and received the award in Immunology 2017 organized by the AAI, which was held between 12 and 16 May at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.

This is the second award received by Dr. Zhou in international conferences since she was presented the National Scholar Award at Vienna, Austria in October 2016. We sincerely congratulate Dr. Zhou on her accomplishment. The continuous effort and devotion Dr. Zhou has put into her research is highly appreciated and will set an exemplary model for other researchers in the pursuit of research excellence.
