A delegation comprising Dr. Edward J. Wing, Dean of Medicine and Biological Sciences and Dr. Julianna Ip, Associate Dean of Medicine, Brown University, U.S.A. visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 13 April 2012.
Apart from meeting Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fok Tai-Fai, Dean of Medicine and representatives from the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of CUHK et al, Dr. Wing also visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS). He met with Prof. Chan Wai-Yee, Director of our School, Prof. Fung Kwok-Pui, Associate Director (Administration) and Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Chief of Stem Cell & Regeneration Program to explore research collaboration opportunities between the Division of Biology and Medicine of Brown University and our School. This visit has further widened our academic connections with institutions in North America.
