Coordinated by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aids (OAFA), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a delegation of 40 representatives of the key middle schools from 16 provinces in the mainland China visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 2 December 2015.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Christopher H.K. Cheng, Associate Director (Undergraduate Education) of the School. Following a brief introduction of the School, the representatives toured the Core Laboratories located at the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building, with the guidance of Prof. Zhao Hui, Assistant Professor, Prof. Simon C.L. Au, Head of Teaching and Learning Unit, Dr. Ng Yuen Keng and Dr. Willmann Liang, Lecturers of SBS.
Apart from showcasing the School's cutting-edge research facilities, the visit offered a good opportunity for connecting the School with the key middle schools in the mainland China, which was conducive to promoting our School and to attracting more potential mainland students to enroll for our new Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences Programme.
