The School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) 2016 organized by the Office of Academic Links (OAL), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from 6 June 2016 to 12 August 2016. The programme itself is an institutional initiative aiming to encourage international undergraduate students to develop their research skills through undertaking a short-term research attachment at CUHK during the summer.

Miss Dakota Wicks, supervised by Prof. Vincent C.K. Cheung, Assistant Professor of SBS, was awarded one of the Best Poster Awards in the Closing Ceremony of the programme. By participating in this programme, we hope that the study of Biomedical Sciences can be further promoted, and more potential students will be attracted to apply for the MPhil-PhD Programme offered in our School.
