Following last year’s participation, a delegation comprising Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences, Prof. Wan Chao, Associate Professor, Prof Zhao Hui, Assistant Professor as well as 19 research staff and postgraduate students took part in the Guangdong-Hong Kong Postgraduate Research Symposium on Regenerative Medicine 2016 held on 9 December 2016 at Jinan University, Guangzhou.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine, with the support of the MOE Ten Thousand Student Interflow Programme 2016, Jinan University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aimed at promoting academic exchanges among postgraduate students who were pursuing their studies in various fields of regenerative medicine.
During the Symposium, 6 of our students participated in oral presentation session while another 8 students took part in the poster presentation session to compete for prizes with other students from Jinan University. With their exceptional performance, 3 of our students won oral presentation prizes (First Prize: Ms. Cao Dandan; Second Prize: Liu Ziran, Third Prize: Meng Chenling) and another 2 students won poster presentation prizes (First Prize: Li Wenling; Third Prize: Chen Binbin).
