Jointly organized by the Reproduction, Development, and Endocrinology Program of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS); The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) – Shandong University (SDU) Joint Laboratory on Reproductive Genetics; and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK, the Symposium on Reproductive Biology was held at Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building on 4 February 2015.
Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of SBS, served as the Chair of the Symposium and gave an opening remark. Representatives from University of Ottawa and York University of Canada; Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK; together with another two members of our School, Prof. Albert H.H. Cheung and Prof. Lee Tin-lap, served as speakers of the event.
Indeed, the CUHK-SDU Joint Laboratory on Reproductive Genetics has organized a few academic activities since its establishment in December 2013. The Symposium showcased our continued commitment to building up wider academic networks outside Hong Kong, and at the same time strengthened our roles in bridging the biomedical expertise in western and Chinese academia.
