As coordinated by the Office of Academic Links (OAL) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Dr. William C. Mobley, Distinguished Professor of Neurology and Ms. Whitney Nifong Egan, Senior Executive Director of Development, Health Sciences Advancement, University of California, San Diego (UCSD) visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 15 June 2023.

During the visit, Dr. Mobley and Ms. Ngan had a meeting with our School members, including Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Director, Prof. Woody Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education), Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Associate Director (Undergraduate Education) cum Director, BSc in Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Programme, Prof. Vincent Cheung, Prof. Zhao Hui, Prof. Xiaohua Jiang and Prof. Jacque Ip. The meeting enhanced mutual understanding of research projects.

We believe the visit has further laid a solid foundation between SBS and UCSD to form academic collaboration and exchange in the near future.
