School members took part in the 6th Workshop of Academic Career Development Programme (ACDP) organised by Faculty of Medicine, CUHK at CUHK Medical Centre on 23 July 2022. Prof. Alfred S.L. Cheng, a member of the ACDP Taskforce and Professor of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) delivered the welcoming speech at the event. Prof. Jacque P.K. Ip, Assistant Professor of the SBS and Dr. Isabel S.S. Hwang, Senior Lecturer of SBS, were invited as guest speakers to share with the participants their invaluable experience in developing their academic career on research and teaching track respectively. Eight of our School members, including Prof. Gu Shen, Prof. Hannah X. Hui, Dr. Josephine W.S. Lau, Prof. Ellen N.Y. Poon, Prof. Karl K.H. So, Prof. Carol M. Tong, Prof. Michelle Wang and Prof. Zhou Jingying also attended the workshop.

This programme aims to provide junior faculties some useful information for developing their academic careers, and also an exchange opportunity for building up relationship with other experienced and senior faculties for future collaboration.
