With the joint efforts of the Organizing Committee of the SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2022, the SBS Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) and the Graduate Education Office, the SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2022 was successfully held on 10 to 11 November 2022.

This annual flagship event provides an excellent and interactive platform for postgraduate students to exchange research ideas with their peers and supervisors and has become an integral part of postgraduate education in the School. The opening ceremony was officiated by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President and Li Ka Shing Professor of Biomedical Sciences, CUHK, and Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Director and Professor of SBS.

This year 73 poster submissions were received. On the first day, each participating student gave a 5-minute oral presentation on their posters. Top 13 presenters with the best performance were selected to give a 10-minute oral presentation on the second day to compete for various prizes. Besides, an online voting was conducted to select the top 10 most popular posters based on aesthetics and design.

We congratulate all the prize winners for their elaborate presentations and exceptional research work. This event had further strengthened the academic exchange and rapport among postgraduate students and teaching and research staff members. The School will continuously strive to enhance postgraduate training and explore for our students different academic exchange activities.
