Prof. Christopher Cheng Hon-Ki of our School has recently been appointed as a member of the 23rd Comparative Physiology Committee of The Chinese Physiological Society. This appointment is a recognition of his continued commitment and contribution to the fields of molecular endocrinology and pharmaceutical research.

Prof. Cheng is currently the Chief of Reproduction, Development and Endocrinology Program of our School. He received the Second-class Award of the 2009 State Natural Science Award (SNSA) last year, and has been appointed as the Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology Ltd. effective from 1 January 2011.
