Dr. Tian Xiaoyu, a Ph.D. graduate in 2010-2011 and a Postdoctoral Fellow of our School, has been awarded the Postgraduate Research Output Award 2011 by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Established since 2002, the Postgraduate Research Output Award is nominated annually by each Faculty to recognize research postgraduate students with commendable research achievements during their studies. The Award consists of a plaque and a cash prize of HK$25, 000. The award will be presented to Dr. Tian and other awardees at the 71st Congregation scheduled for 29 November 2012.

The honour that Dr. Tian received reflects the exceptional academic standard and research achievements of our postgraduate students.
