Ms. Sophie S.S. Liu, Year 3 Ph.D student participating in the "CUHK-NIH Graduate Partnerships Program", received the "Endocrine Society Outstanding Abstract Award" in conjunction with ICE/ENDO 2014 in Chicago, United States. The Award provided travel grants to outstanding abstracts submitted by in-training post-docs, graduate students, and new faculty who were accepted to present their research during the ICE/ENDO 2014 annual meeting held between 21 June and 24 June 2014. Ms. Liu was presented with an award certificate and a travel award of US$500 for her outstanding abstract displayed during the morning plenary session of the said annual meeting.
