Prof. Tian Xiaoyu, Research Assistant Professor of the School, has recently been awarded in the Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF) Research Fellowship Scheme 2016 by the Food and Health Bureau, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The awarded project title was "Targeted delivery of microRNAs by nanoparticles as a novel therapeutic strategy in the treatment of atherosclerosis in diabetes and obesity". The Scheme was established to support researchers and professional in their early to mid-career to enhance their research capability and to build research capacity in facilitating the translation of knowledge into clinical practice.
