Prof. Cheung Wing-tai, Prof. Francis F.Y. Lam, Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee officially retired from the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 1 August 2021, and Prof. Huang Yu had early retirement effective from 28 September 2021. Immediately following the retirement, Prof. Francis Lam was reappointed as Associate Professor (Teaching) to engage in our undergraduate teaching, while Prof. Cheung Wing-tai was appointed as Adjunct Associate Professor with effect from 1 August 2021.

In addition to the retirement of the above academic staff, the following non-academic staff members officially retired from SBS on 1 August 2021:
