Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Associate Director (Undergraduate Education) and Principal Lecturer of the School of Biomedical Sciences has recently been appointed as Co-director of the CUHK Centre for Bioethics, with effect from 6 March 2022.

The Centre is committed to education, research, and collaboration in bioethics, looking at the ethics of clinical practice, biomedical research, animal ethics, environmental ethics, and professional ethics. Starting in 2015, all health sciences undergraduates will be required to enroll in a core curriculum in bioethics.
