Year 2 students Miss Netaniah Kisha Pinto, Miss Michelle Agatha Tjoa and Year 4 student Miss Er Hiu-suet of the BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme of the School of Biomedical Sciences, received Hong Kong Life Sciences Scholarship Award at the Presentation Ceremony organised by the Hong Kong Life Sciences Society (HKLSS) on 14 October 2023. Miss Tjoa Michelle Agatha was invited to present a Vote of Thanks on behalf of the awardees.

The Awards are established by HKLSS to encourage outstanding undergraduate students who are pursuing life sciences or biomedical science programmes in a UGC-funded institutions in Hong Kong. Each awardee will receive a scholarship of HK$50,000 with other complimentary entitlements, including mentorship and summer internship opportunities. This year, 10 students from 3 institutions were selected for the Awards.

We sincerely congratulate our three students on winning this scholarship with their exceptional academic performance.
