Seminar on "Intellectual Property (IP) Protection and Commercialization of Research Outputs" Date : 2010-08-09 Details : A one-day seminar on “Intellectual Property (IP) Protection and Commercialization of Research Outputs” was co-organized by the Knowledge Transfer Unit (KTU) and School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 9 August 2010 at Room 202AB, Choh-Ming Li Basic Medical Sciences Building, CUHK. A total of 50 staff and students joined the event. The seminar focused on IP protection and commercialization, specific cross-border IP perspectives as well as different practices being adopted in China, US and Europe. A group of local and overseas patent lawyers, including Dr. Albert Wai-Kit Chan, Mr. Jack W. Chung, Ms. Patricia S. Lecca, and Mr. Robert D. Katz shared with participants their experience and insights on these issues.
